Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Kapitel „Know-how! Neue Unternehmensverantwortung für die digitale Gesellschaft“ startet mit den tiefgreifenden Veränderungen in der Weltwirtschaft durch die Digitalisierung. Es erörtert die Fortschritte und Auswirkungen der Digitalisierung, die Rolle von Daten und „Prosumenten“ in der Wertschöpfung sowie die exponentielle Entwicklung von Technologien und deren Einfluss auf den Markt und die Gesellschaft. Weiterhin beleuchtet es die Bedeutung von Big Data, KI und digitalen Technologien für Unternehmen, die durch die digitale Transformation und Ökonomie, sowie die Entstehung neuer Geschäfts- und Plattformmodelle, eine neue Ära der Wertschöpfung betreten. Es wird die Notwendigkeit beschrieben, Unternehmensverantwortung neu zu bewerten, da die digitale Transformation neue ethische, gesellschaftliche und nachhaltige Herausforderungen mit sich bringt. Schließlich wird die Evolution der Corporate Responsibility (CR) zur Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR) dargelegt, inklusive Definition, Zielen, Voraussetzungen für Erfolg und dem Einfluss auf Stakeholder. Das Kapitel endet mit der Darstellung, wie CDR als ein strategisches und branchenübergreifendes Konzept in sechs Schritten umgesetzt werden kann, um nachhaltige und verantwortungsvolle digitale Geschäftspraktiken zu fördern.
