Abstract

Zusammenfassung Jede Führungskraft entwickelt mit der Zeit einen eigenen Führungsstil und wendet diesen auf die Mitarbeitenden an. Doch warum führt dieser Stil manchmal zu besseren und manchmal zu schlechteren Ergebnissen? In diesem Kapitel wird anhand theoretischer Modelle sowie praktischer Ableitungen durch ein Fallbeispiel beleuchtet, welchen Einfluss das Team selbst auf den Führungsstil hat. Dazu werden die Entwicklungsphasen des Teams sowie die Persönlichkeitsmerkmale – mit Blick auf die Individuen des Teams, die Teamzusammensetzung und die Führungskraft – beleuchtet. Zudem spielen auch weitere Merkmale wie zum Beispiel Vielfaltsdimensionen eine wichtige Rolle. Aus dem Zusammenspiel all dieser Faktoren ergibt sich eine Matrix, die Hinweise zur Entwicklung individueller Führungsstile je nach Team, dessen Mitgliedern und ihren Merkmalen sowie der Entwicklungsphase des Teams berücksichtigt.
