Importance of Project Management for Industry and Authorities

Abstract

By introducing professional project management, the business results of companies and contracting authorities will be significantly improved and secured. If a project gets out of hand due to technical or scheduling issues, it usually leads to cost increases, which in turn may reduce the expected business goal. This becomes particularly clear in an analysis of the Return on Investment (ROI). It is the responsibility of the assigned project manager to achieve the specified project results while adhering to schedule deadlines and cost targets.
