Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel vergleichen wir unseren beruflichen Kalender mit dem Spiel Tetris. Dabei betrachten wir, wie die wachsende Anzahl von Online-Meetings, ähnlich wie die fallenden Blöcke in Tetris, zu einer zunehmenden Belastung und Unordnung im Arbeitsalltag führen kann. Der Fokus liegt darauf, wie unterschiedliche Arten von Meetings (repräsentiert durch die verschiedenen Tetrominos) unseren Kalender prägen. Im Fokus steht die Problematik, dass ein Übermaß an Meetings nicht nur Ressourcen verschwendet, sondern auch einen geringen Return On Time Invested bietet. Ziel des Kapitels ist es, ein Bewusstsein für die Kosten und den zeitlichen Aufwand von Online-Meetings zu schaffen und Strategien aufzuzeigen, wie man mit der Herausforderung des Kalender-Tetris umgehen kann, um letztlich produktiver und zufriedener im Berufsleben zu sein.
