Abstract

Zusammenfassung Voraussetzung für die Datengeschichte ist, dass eine Datenanalyse bereits stattgefunden hat und die Erkenntnisse aus ihr bereits vorliegen. Da die Data Story das Publikum zu einer Entscheidung beeinflussen will, widmet man sich im ersten Schritt auch der Analyse der Zuhörer:innen und der Entscheider:innen. Danach steht die Überlegung, was die Kernbotschaft, der Aha-Moment der Datengeschichte sein soll. Die Autorin erklärt, wie durch Brainstorming ein Storyboard erstellt wird und anhand dessen die Argumente verdichtet und gekürzt werden. Im nächsten Schritt werden diese Argumente in eine bestimmte Reihenfolge gebracht, die dann den Spannungsbogen der Datengeschichte und damit das Fundament der Storyline bilden wird.
