Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Beitrag wird die schriftliche Kritik in ihrer Funktion und ihrer Ausrichtung besprochen: Welche Relevanz hat sie noch im digitalen Zeitalter? Nach welchen Maßstäben lassen sich Spiele überhaupt bewerten und welchen Zweck erfüllt dabei die Spielkritik? Zusätzlich werden die Spielkritik innerhalb der Szene eingeordnet und die daraus resultierenden Schwerpunkte der Spielkritik angesprochen. Die Zielsetzung einer Spielkritik im Allgemeinen, sowie der besondere Stellenwert, den das Urteil in einer Kritik hat, bilden den Abschluss.
