Abstract

Zusammenfassung Analoge Spiele sind ein verbreitetes Sammelgebiet. Doch wenn der Sammler – aus welchen Gründen auch immer – seine Tätigkeit beendet, wird der mit Aufwand und Kompetenz zusammengetragene Bestand in der Regel entweder einzeln verkauft oder weggeworfen. Der Beitrag positioniert das Gesellschaftsspiel im Zwischenbereich zwischen Alltags- und Hochkultur, zeigt die kulturelle Bedeutung auf, die die Erhaltung solcher Bestände hat, beleuchtet das Sammeln und die Bedeutung privater Sammlungen und weist damit auf den beständig drohenden Verlust einer bedeutenden kulturellen Reserve hin.
