Abstract

Zusammenfassung Analoge Spiele haben eine jahrtausendealte Tradition und fördern eine Vielzahl von sozialen und geistigen Kompetenzen. Ab der frühen Neuzeit sind erstmals auch die Autoren solcher Spiele nachweisbar. Im 20. Jh. erleichterte die Entwicklung der Drucktechnik bis heute ein erhebliches Ansteigen der Publikationen – ungeachtet der parallelen Entwicklung der Computerspielbranche. Analoge Spiele finden sich auch in fast allen Öffentlichen Bibliotheken, allerdings ist die öffentliche Anerkennung und Förderung dieses Kulturguts und Bildungsmediums noch wenig entwickelt.
