Abstract

Zusammenfassung In Deutschland hat sich nach dem 2. Weltkrieg eine einzigartige Brettspielkultur entwickelt. Grundlegend dafür sind verschiedene Faktoren, darunter die SPIEL als größte internationale Messe zu analogen Spielen sowie der weltweit anerkannte Kritikerpreis „Spiel des Jahres“. Bisher fehlt es jedoch an einer systematischen Forschung zu modernen analogen Spielen. Der Artikel zeigt den derzeitigen Stand sowie die Forschungsgeschichte auf und stellt Potenziale und Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten einer umfassenden und nachhaltigen Forschung zu modernen Brettspielen vor.
