Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Beitrag wird die Bedeutung von Spielemessen als Kommunikations- und Vertriebskanal für Verlage betrachtet. Auf Basis eines Interviews mit Ulrich Fonrobert (Queen Games) wird die Planung und Durchführung eines Messeauftritts auf der SPIEL in Essen am Beispiel des Queen Games Verlags beleuchtet. Betrachtet wird, welche Schritte im Vorfeld, währenddessen und im Nachgang einer solchen Veranstaltung zu beachten sind, denn nach der SPIEL ist vor der SPIEL. Zielgruppe einer Messepräsenz sind neben dem Messepublikum auch Handelstreibende und die Medien.
