Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Welt beziehungsweise das Wirtschaftsleben ist geprägt von zunehmender Komplexität und Unsicherheit. Hieraus ergeben sich gänzlich neue Herausforderungen für das Management. Im Zentrum steht dabei die Transformation des Unternehmens hin zu einer adaptiven Organisation, die unvorhersehbare Umfeldeinflüsse schnell und flexibel adaptiert beziehungsweise in Chancen umwandelt. Aber wie muss die Transformation hin zu einer solchen Organisation geplant beziehungsweise umgesetzt werden? Und welche Aufgaben kommen dabei explizit auf das Management zu? Der vorliegende Aufsatz liefert erste grundlegende Antworten auf diese Fragen.
