Abstract

Zusammenfassung Um kurzfristig über Motivationslöcher hinweg- oder aus ihnen herauszusteigen, dauerhaft Gewohnheiten anzunehmen, die einem das Leben erleichtern, oder um Gewohnheiten abzulegen, die einem das Leben erschweren, also für alle bewussten Eingriffe in unser Wahrnehmen, Denken, Fühlen, Wollen und Handeln, müssen wir einen Schritt über die Ebene der reinen Motivation hinaus machen. Das, was wir hierfür benötigen, wird Volition genannt. „Volition wird benötigt, um fehlende oder unzureichende Motivation zu kompensieren“ (Kehr et al., 2018, S. 602). Wenn wir also nicht gerade von unserer Motivation getragen werden und uns die Dinge geradezu zufliegen und leichtfallen, bedarf es einer inneren Kraft, die in der Lage ist, diese Lücke zu füllen und eine Brücke zwischen dem Wollen und dem Machen zu bauen.
