Abstract

Zusammenfassung Mechatronische und cybertronische Antriebslösungen der Wittenstein SE ermöglichen u. a. das Funktionieren von Maschinen, logistischen Prozessen und Technologien von der Förderung von Bodenschätzen bis zur Raumfahrt. Auch wenn das Unternehmen weltweit 60 Standorte hat, so arbeitet ein Großteil der Mitarbeiter:innen noch immer in Baden-Württemberg. Eine wesentliche Basis dafür sieht CEO Dr. Bertram Hoffmann in der Herausforderung, große Varianz hochwertiger Produkte bei gleichzeitig geringer Stückzahl möglichst intelligent zu entwickeln, herzustellen und zu vertreiben. Seine größte Zukunftssorge besteht im Mangel an jungen Talenten. Das Interview führte Dr. Heiko Wolters.
