Abstract

Zusammenfassung Als Turnkey-Lieferant für die internationale Getränke- und Lebensmittelindustrie steht Krones in einer besonderen Verpflichtung: Deren Lösungen sind bei Unternehmen auf der ganzen Welt im Einsatz; die mit den Technologien des Unternehmens hergestellten Endprodukte werden jeden Tag millionenfach konsumiert. Daher erstreckt sich der Verantwortungsbereich weit über die eigenen Werkstore hinaus – sowohl für Nachhaltigkeit im Allgemeinen als auch für den Klimaschutz im Speziellen. Entsprechend sieht es das Unternehmen als seine dringende Aufgabe, einen Beitrag für drei wesentliche Herausforderungen der Menschheit zu leisten: den Klimawandel zu bekämpfen, die Ernährung der Weltbevölkerung sicherzustellen und die Umweltverschmutzung durch Plastik zu reduzieren.
