Abstract

Zusammenfassung Es gilt heute fast schon als ausgemacht, dass die hierarchisch-autoritäre Führung ausgedient hat. Propagiert wird das Team, das sich selbst steuert und in dem jeder je nach Situation Führung übernehmen kann und soll. Für den Mitarbeiter bringt dies eine neue Freiheit, aber zugleich auch eine große Herausforderung mit sich: Es sagt ihm niemand mehr, was er wie zu tun hat. Damit ist er selbstverantwortlich für sein Handeln, ebenso wie für die Ergebnisse, die er damit erzielt. Er darf und soll zum Unternehmer werden. Was genau wird von ihm in dieser neuen Rolle erwartet? Wie kann er darin ausgebildet, gefördert und unterstützt werden? Aber auch: Wie greift die Führungskraft in seine Selbststeuerung ein, wenn diese einmal an ihre Grenzen stößt? In diesem Kapitel wird bereits das gesamte Führungskonzept umrissen und eine neue Führung anhand von sieben Prinzipien skizziert.
