Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seit Beginn des 21ten Jahrhunderts ist die Anzahl der Single und Multi Family Offices im deutschsprachigen Raum massiv angestiegen. Unternehmern und Vermögensinhabern bieten sich somit heutzutage diverse Möglichkeiten die Gesamtvermögenssteuerung an Fachleute außerhalb der Unternehmerfamilie abzugeben. Das Virtuelle Family Office, Embedded Family Office oder das Family Office als separate Einheit sind dabei nur drei Ausgestaltungen. Viele Unternehmerfamilien wollen jedoch die Gesamtsteuerung des Vermögens nicht weitestgehend abgeben und in ihrem bestehenden Netzwerk weiter frei agieren. Multi Family Offices, welche eine übergreifende fachliche Expertise und Distanz zur Familie und dem Vermögen haben, bieten entscheidende Mehrwerte für manche Vermögensträger. Eine „Selbststeuerung“ ist aber auch für Vermögen im zweistelligen Mio. EUR Bereich unterhalb des Schwellenwertes eines Single Family Office möglich, wenn entsprechende Prozesse und Tools eingesetzt werden.
