Abstract

Zusammenfassung Krisen sind in der Regel außergewöhnliche, bedrohliche Ereignisse mit anfangs oftmals unklarer Informationslage. In solchen Situationen Entscheidungen treffen zu müssen ist schwierig. Welche Auswirkungen können sie haben und warum ist es überhaupt zu dem Vorfall gekommen? Gerade bei kriminellen Bedrohungen von Unternehmerfamilien führt dies oft zu einem hohen Konfliktpotenzial innerhalb der Familie. Daher sollte man vorausschauend planen! Die Bedrohungen können vielfältig sein. Ein Hackerangriff, bei dem sensible Daten entwendet wurden, eine Erpressung oder gar die Entführung eines Familienmitglieds erfordern gerade in der Anfangszeit schnelles, strukturiertes und entschiedenes Handeln. Nicht alle Entscheidungen können bis ins letzte Detail abgewogen oder endlos lange ausdiskutiert werden. Auch wenn gerade Unternehmer es gewohnt sind, Entscheidungen zu treffen, haben Krisensituationen ganz eigene Herausforderungen, vor allem wenn die Familie betroffen ist. Wichtig ist einen strukturierten Plan für Krisenfälle zu entwickeln bzw. zu wissen, wie mit kriminellen Bedrohungen umgegangen wird. Außerdem sollten frühzeitig Spezialisten mit hinzugezogen werden, die sich mit solchen Vorfällen auskennen. Sie unterstützen bei den präventiven Vorkehrungen und wissen mit Drohschreiben oder Erpresser-Mail umzugehen.
