Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel befasst sich mit der Strukturierung des Managementalltages von Führungskräften in der öffentlichen Verwaltung nach den vier Managementfunktionen Planung, Organisation, Personal und Controlling. Die Berücksichtigung der Managementfunktionen befähigt Führungskräfte und jeden, der mit Managementaufgaben in der öffentlichen Verwaltung befasst ist, Management erfolgreicher zu gestalten. Dieses Kapitel bietet eine möglichst eingängige und prägnante Beschreibung der vier Managementfunktionen, die auf Grund ihrer übersichtlichen Struktur für einen effizienten Einsatz im praktischen Alltag von Führungskräften geeignet ist. Neben der Beschreibung der Inhalte von den Managementfunktionen wird auch das Thema Entscheidungen innerhalb dieser Managementfunktionen sowie die Frage, wer eigentlich alles Managementaufgaben wahrnehmen kann, behandelt.
