Abstract

Zusammenfassung Über die letzten hundert Jahre hat sich China von einem Kaiserreich in eine Republik entwickelt und selbst seit 1912 noch weiter verändert. Deng Xiaoping’s Reform- und Öffnungspolitik, welche offiziell im Jahr 1978 der Kulturrevolution unter Mao Zedong folgte, war entscheidend in der rasanten Entwicklung Chinas. Seit den 1980er-Jahren hat sich China extrem verwandelt und rasant entwickelt. Die Frage, wie China in der Zukunft aussehen wird, wird daher oft gestellt, ist jedoch nicht leicht zu beantworten. In den nachfolgenden Abschnitten möchte ich verschiedene Aspekte (z. B. Innovation, Belt and Road, Klimawandel, Ausblick) erläutern und der Frage auf den Grund gehen, wie China im Jahr 2050 aussehen könnte und welche entscheidenden Trends die Entwicklung des Landes beeinflussen werden.
