Von der Anforderung zum Einsatz: Kompetenzen in der Stabsarbeit

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Speziell in der Stabsarbeit kommen auf das Personal Anforderungen zu, die über das fachliche Wissen und die berufliche Erfahrung hinausgehen. Gleichzeitig wäre es sinnvoll, Aufgaben danach zu verteilen, welche Kompetenzen vorhanden sind. Doch wie werden diese Anforderungen bzw. benötigte Kompetenzen bestimmt bzw. identifiziert? Wie können sie gezielt trainiert werden? Im Artikel wird beschrieben, wie ein Anforderungsprofil für eine Stabsrolle über die Beschreibung konkreter Tätigkeiten erstellt werden kann, wie daraus ein Kompetenzprofil entsteht und wie man Kompetenzprofile innerhalb eines Stabs clustern kann. Anschließend wird vorgeschlagen, anhand eines Soll-Ist-Vergleichs von erwünschten Kompetenzprofilen mit den Profilen von Personen, die bereits im Stab arbeiten, oder von Personen, die für Stabsarbeit gewonnen werden sollen, die verschiedenen Entwicklungs- und Trainingsmöglichkeiten aufzuzeigen, die sich aus dem Vergleich ergeben. Abschließend wird skizziert, wie man Trainingsbedarfe in ein spezifisches Weiterbildungsprogramm überführen kann, welches sowohl grundlegende Kompetenzen verschiedener Cluster als auch tiefergehende, spezielle Fähigkeiten berücksichtigt.
