Abstract

Zusammenfassung Als die Innenminister und -senatoren der Länder im Jahr 1978 Regelungen zum Informationsfluss in Führungsstäben trafen, konnte niemand die technischen Weiterentwicklungen antizipieren. Nicht nur die Möglichkeiten der EDV, auch die veränderte Rolle der Medien, die Macht des Internets und moderner Kommunikationsmittel waren damals nicht abzuschätzen. Das Informationsaufkommen in Führungsstäben unterliegt regelmäßig hohen Schwankungen. Dabei existiert ein erfolgskritischer Zusammenhang: In hochdynamischen und komplexen Phasen kann die Menge an zu verarbeitender Information besonders hoch sein und ihr Inhalt gleichzeitig wenig verlässlich. Umso bedeutsamer ist die Unterstützung des Informations- und Kommunikationsmanagements durch eine geeignete Softwarelösung. Dieser Beitrag stellt Eckpunkte solcher Lösungen dar, die sich an den komplexen und ständig verändernden Informationsflüssen im Krisenstab und dem gleichzeitigen Erfordernis einer Beherrschbarkeit durch die Nutzer orientieren sollten.
