Abstract

Zusammenfassung Vor der Entscheidung einer Führungskraft sollte eine Überlegung stehen, welche Argumente gerade für oder gegen diese Entscheidung sprechen. Die unterschiedlichen Bereiche und Institutionen, die Stabsarbeit einsetzen, nutzen strukturierte Systeme zur Entscheidungsunterstützung. All diese Systeme beinhalten einen gemeinsamen Teilschritt, die beim Militär und den Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben als „Beurteilung der Lage“ bezeichnet wird. Sie liefert durch lagebezogene Analysen und Prognosen die wesentlichen Erkenntnisse, Schlussfolgerungen und Alternativen für die Entscheidungsfindung. Der strukturierte Aufbau und Inhalt der Beurteilung bietet einen nützlichen Anhalt für das sich anschließende systematische Planungsverfahren zur Bewältigung einer kritischen Situation.
