Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Vorstandsvorsitzenden der Banken in aller Welt erwarten von der Künstlichen Intelligenz (KI) signifikante Änderungen ihrer Geschäftsmodelle (PWC 2019). Die zahlreichen Anwendungen zeigen, dass KI kein technischer Modebegriff mehr ist. Vielmehr zeichnet sich ein Trend zur vollständigen Digitalisierung des Geschäftsmodells von Banken ab. Die KI erschließt neue Anwendungsfelder, die bis vor kurzem entweder als zu kompliziert oder als zu teuer für die Automatisierung galten.
