Abstract

Zusammenfassung Künstliche Intelligenz gilt als wichtigste Basistechnologie unserer Zeit, verbunden mit einem starken Einfluss auf die Wirtschaft quer durch alle Branchen, wie ihn die Dampfmaschine oder die Elektrizität früher ausgelöst hatten. Ähnlich wie damals, stellen sich die ökonomischen Effekte aber nicht über Nacht ein. Mussten damals zunächst Maschinen gebaut oder Schienen verlegt werden, müssten für die KI heute zuerst die notwendigen Daten aufbereitet, Spezialisten ausgebildet und die KI-Modelle entwickelt werden. In alle drei Aufgaben muss zunächst investiert werden, bevor sich die Früchte in Form höherer Produktivität und neuer Geschäftsmodelle ernten lassen.
