Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Folgenden wird Deutschlands Rolle im globalen Wettbewerb um KI fokussiert. Das Land profitiert von einer starken Industrie- und Forschungslandschaft, hohen Ausbildungsstandards sowie Innovationskraft und Technologieführerschaft. Um jedoch die langfristige Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu sichern, müssen auch Schwachstellen angegangen werden, darunter insbesondere die bis dato oft langsame Implementierung neuer Technologien und bürokratische Hürden. Das Kapitel beleuchtet weiterhin strategische Ansätze zur Stärkung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit im Bereich der KI, darunter u. a. höhere Investitionen in Forschung und Entwicklung, die Förderung von Start-ups und KMU, die Verbesserung der digitalen Infrastruktur und der Ausbau internationaler Kooperationen. Es gilt, technologischen Vorsprung zu sichern und ethische Standards und Datenschutz zu Wettbewerbsvorteilen ausbauen.
