Abstract

Zusammenfassung Neben Design- und Non-Design Cost Savings können Einsparungen durch optimierte Prozessketten, Abläufe oder Wertschöpfungsaktivitäten erzielt werden. In einem dynamischen, unsicheren und komplexen wirtschaftlichen Umfeld stehen Unternehmen heute unter hohem Druck. Schnelle Reaktionen am Markt sind erforderlich. Viele Betriebe reiben sich auf, ohne voranzukommen, da es für die Bewältigung neuer Anforderungen an Abläufen und Strukturen fehlt. Durch intelligentes Prozessmanagement lassen sich ungenutzte Produktivitätsreserven ausschöpfen und die Effizienz steigern. Gravierende Leistungsverbesserungen und die Anpassung an neue Herausforderungen sind möglich, ohne in die Beschleunigungsfalle oder in Adhocratie zu geraten. Das Buch stellt verständlich und anschaulich dar, wie sich Prozessdenken im Unternehmen etablieren und Prozessmanagement auf allen Ebenen einführen lässt (Christ 2015).
