Abstract

Zusammenfassung Unter dem Begriff Lean Office oder Office der Zukunft werden neue Büro- und Arbeitswelten diskutiert, die nicht nur eine optimierte Flächennutzung erlauben, sondern Innovationskraft und Produktivität steigern sowie die Arbeitgeberattraktivität erhöhen sollen; ebenso werden hier neue und hybride Arbeitsmodelle diskutiert, die zu Einsparungen und Cost Savings bei gleichzeitiger Performance-Steigerung führen können. Verbunden sind damit jedoch nicht nur strukturell-architektonische Maßnahmen in Regie des Facility Managements, sondern auch die Transformation zum papierlosen Büro (Klaffke 2016). Ein papierloses Büro zeichnet sich also dadurch aus, dass kein Papier mehr für Aufgaben verwendet wird, bei denen es nicht zwingend erforderlich ist. Jedoch wird es auch in Zukunft weiterhin Bereiche geben, wo Papier benötigt wird (Sellen und Harper 2003). Die Kernpunkte eines papierlosen Büros umfassen die innerbetriebliche oder außerbetriebliche Kommunikation, Speicherung der Dokumente auf Datenspeichern wie Festplatten, Cloud-Diensten oder Wechselmedien. Zu den vielen Punkten, die mit einem papierlosen Büro in Zusammenhang gesetzt werden, zählen etwa:
