Abstract

Zusammenfassung Kognitive und emotionale Prozesse beeinflussen die Entscheidungsfindung von Führungskräften und deren Teams. Systematische Denkfehler können im Alltag schnell zu irrationalen Entscheidungen führen. Emotionen spielen ebenfalls eine zentrale Rolle, da sie sowohl positive Effekte wie Kreativität fördern als auch negative Verzerrungen erzeugen können. Erfolgreiche Führungskräfte scheinen über eine emotionale Intelligenz zu verfügen, mit der sie sowohl ihre eigenen Emotionen als auch die ihrer Teams erkennen, verstehen und regulieren können. Auch verhaltensökonomische Ansätze wie die Affektheuristik und Verlustaversion verdeutlichen, dass Emotionen besonders in unsicheren Situationen die Entscheidungsfindung dominieren können. Hieraus lassen sich Anforderungen an die Anwendung von transformationalen und transaktionalen Führungsverhalten ableiten, die vorgestellt und kritisch diskutiert werden.
