Künstliche Intelligenz im Einkauf von Voith – Ein Blick auf Entwicklung, Anwendungen und Ausblick im Jahr 2024

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bereits vor knapp sechs Jahren wurden erste Untersuchungen und Pilotprojekte bei der Voith Gruppe (~ 24.000 Lieferanten in 100 Ländern, 900 Materialgruppen und ~ 380.000 Bestellungen p. a.) in der Zentralfunktion Corporate Purchasing durchgeführt, die sich insbesondere auf die Anwendung von „Künstlicher Intelligenz“ im Gebiet der Datenanalyse sowie -hygiene bezogen. Zwischenzeitlich ist aus dem Kreis der einst hoch spezialisierten Nischenanbieter eine Vielzahl von „Providern“ entstanden, die versprechen, viele Probleme und Herausforderungen im Einkauf durch Künstliche Intelligenz zu lösen. Eine zusätzliche Herausforderung stellt die gestiegene Erwartungshaltung von Anwendern dar, die Künstliche Intelligenz privat bereits in unterschiedlichen Apps täglich nutzen. In diesem Beitrag wird aus dem praxisorientierten Blickwinkel des Einkaufs bei Voith eine realistische Interpretation der Anwendungsgebiete von künstlicher Intelligenz im Jahr 2024 vorgenommen. Technische Inhalte werden nur punktuell angeschnitten.
