Abstract

Zusammenfassung Neben dem Risikomanagement und der Nachhaltigkeit gilt die Digitalisierung als zentrales Entwicklungsfeld des Einkaufs. Die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten sind, nicht erst seit dem Aufkommen von „künstlicher Intelligenz“, äußerst vielfältig und betreffen alle wesentlichen Prozesse. Dennoch zeigt sich, dass der Umsetzungsgrad die umfassenden Potenziale bisher nur selten erreicht. Der Beitrag nimmt hierzu eine strukturierte Untersuchung vor, indem Anwendungspotenziale prozessorientiert sowie mit speziellem Fokus auf Nachhaltigkeit und Risikomanagement herausgearbeitet werden. Anschließend erfolgt eine Bewertung des Status quo der Umsetzung, samt Ursachenanalyse. Den inhaltlichen Abschluss bilden potenzialorientierte Handlungsempfehlungen für eine stärkere Erforschung und Nutzung der Digitalisierung im Einkauf.
