Abstract

Zusammenfassung Social Footprinting ermöglicht es Unternehmen, soziale Auswirkungen entlang globaler Lieferketten zu bewerten und zu quantifizieren. Durch die Integration von Daten, u. a. über Arbeitsbedingungen, Löhne und Menschenrechte, können soziale Risiken systematisch analysiert und transparent gemacht werden. Der Beitrag bietet einen praxisnahen Leitfaden zur Umsetzung von Social Footprinting auf Unternehmensebene und diskutiert die Herausforderungen in der Datenverfügbarkeit und Standardisierung. Zudem wird auf das Potenzial der Digitalisierung und Künstlichen Intelligenz Bezug genommen, die künftig eine bedeutende Rolle in der Automatisierung und Verbesserung der Analyse spielen werden.
