Abstract

Zusammenfassung Human Rights Due Diligence (HREDD), also menschenrechtliche und umweltbezogene Sorgfaltspflichten, sind integraler Bestandteil eines wirksamen Beschaffungsrisikomanagements. Dabei kommt der Beteiligung von Stakeholdern eine zentrale Rolle zu. Dieser Beitrag zeigt die Relevanz der Stakeholderbeteiligung bei der HREDD im Kontext anerkannter internationaler Standards und Gesetze wie dem deutschen Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz (LkSG) und der europäischen Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) auf. Es wird erläutert, wie HREDD-Prozesse unter sinnvoller Einbindung der Stakeholder zum Schutz der Menschenrechte und der Umwelt beitragen. Der Beitrag zeigt die Vorteile für Unternehmen, die ihnen durch die Integration von HREDD in das Beschaffungsrisikomanagement erwachsen, wie bspw. resiliente Lieferketten, langfristige Partnerschaften und die Reduktion von Risiken. Abschließend werden erfolgreiche Best Practices für Stakeholderbeteiligungsformate vorgestellt, um konkrete Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten aufzuzeigen und den Mehrwert solcher Initiativen zu verdeutlichen.
