Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit der weltweiten Lebensmittel- und Güterknappheit im Rahmen der Covid-19-Pandemie und des Russland-Ukraine-Kriegs mit einem speziellen Fokus auf den europäischen Markt. Die Covid-19-Pandemie und die daraus resultierenden Containerstaus führten zu den ersten globalen Engpässen, die durch den aktuellen Krieg in der Ukraine weiter verschärft wurden. Diese Krisen haben erhebliche Auswirkungen auf Unternehmen, Verbraucher und Arbeitnehmer. Ziel des Beitrags ist es, die Hintergründe dieser Knappheit und ihre Folgen zu analysieren sowie die sich daraus ergebenden Chancen aufzuzeigen. Zunächst wird der Begriff „Knappheit“ definiert, dann werden die Ursachen und Auswirkungen der Engpässe erläutert. Abschließend werden die möglichen Chancen diskutiert und ein Ausblick auf den zukünftigen Forschungsbedarf gegeben.
