Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Einkauf von Full-Container-Load-Seefracht ist für globale Unternehmen essenziell, da er die weltweite Versorgung der Werke sicherstellt. Vor der Covid-19-Pandemie war der Seefrachtmarkt stabil und gut planbar, mit festen Verträgen und gleichbleibenden Preisen. Die Pandemie brachte jedoch erhebliche Störungen, wie Lieferkettenunterbrechungen, Knappheit an Leercontainern und Hafen-Lockdowns, was zu einem Umdenken bei Reedereien und Unternehmen führte. Diese Veränderungen zwangen Unternehmen, ihre Einkaufsstrategien anzupassen und flexiblere Lieferkettenmodelle zu entwickeln. Der Beitrag untersucht, wie diese Herausforderungen den Seefrachteinkauf nachhaltig beeinflusst haben und geht auf die Unterschiede zwischen dezentralem und zentralem Einkauf ein. In den letzten Jahren wurde der manuelle Aufwand bei Reedereien durch Digitalisierung reduziert, doch die Pandemie zeigte, dass bei Problemen der manuelle Einsatz wieder steigt, was zu zusätzlichen Herausforderungen führt.
