Maritime Abhängigkeiten globaler Lieferketten im geostrategischen Kontext

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Bedeutung maritimer sicherheitspolitischer und geostrategischer Faktoren für die Aufrechterhaltung globaler Lieferketten wird in diesem Beitrag dargestellt. Hierdurch soll verdeutlicht werden, dass die Logistik der globalen Wertschöpfungsketten zukünftig nicht nur bezüglich der beteiligten Zulieferer zu analysieren und zu bewerten ist, sondern auch bezüglich der maritimen Abhängigkeiten und Anfälligkeiten der Lieferketten und Verkehrswege. Zum Kontext der Problematik gehören aktuelle Konfliktzonen, die geostrategische Konkurrenz zwischen China und den USA im Pazifikraum und die Import-Abhängigkeit der europäischen Volkswirtschaften. Auch klimatische Faktoren machen sich bereits bemerkbar, da die Klimaänderung neue Seewege eröffnet, was jedoch zu politischen Spannungen zwischen den Anrainerstaaten führen kann. Wichtiger als der isolierte Blick auf aktuelle Problemzonen ist jedoch das Bewusstsein für grundlegende maritime geopolitische Strukturen. Maritime Sicherheitspolitik und die Risikoeinschätzung globaler Lieferketten stellen komplementäre Aspekte dar, sodass ein Zusammenhang zwischen Sicherheitspolitik, Standort- und Verkehrspolitik und nachhaltigem Lieferkettenmanagement besteht.
