Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel bildet den letzten Abschnitt des ersten Grundlagenteils. Motivation ist ein sehr wichtiges Thema im Rahmen von Führung und sollte daher in seinem Kern verstanden werden. Bestimmt dürfte nicht jeder Führungskraft vollständig klar und bewusst sein, wie Motivation genau funktioniert und, umgekehrt, wie Demotivation eigentlich zustande kommt. Es ist daher von enormer Wichtigkeit, das Wesen der Motivation zu kennen, um dann situationsbedingt, effektiv und angemessen auf Motivationsprobleme von Mitarbeitern eingehen zu können. In diesem Kapitel werden die Grundlagen der Motivation vorgestellt und die vier verschiedenen Arten von Motivation nach Pink dargestellt. Zusätzlich wird beschrieben, dass es im Wesentlichen zwei unterschiedliche Typen von Menschen gibt, die unterschiedlich motiviert werden. Anschließend wird die Rolle der Motivation in der Praxis beleuchtet und gezeigt, worauf man bei der Motivation von Mitarbeitern achten sollte.
