Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die mediapool Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH ist ein führendes Unternehmen im nachhaltigen Veranstaltungsmanagement und erhielt 2021 als erstes deutsches Unternehmen die DIN ISO 20121 Zertifizierung. Diese internationale Norm definiert Anforderungen an eine nachhaltige Planung und Durchführung von Veranstaltungen. Die Implementierung erfolgte als umfassender Change-Management-Prozess, der bestehende Abläufe an die Zertifizierungsanforderungen anpasste. Die partizipative Einbindung von Mitarbeitenden, Lieferant:innen und Stakeholdern sowie kontinuierliche Schulungen waren und sind dabei entscheidend. Die Zertifizierung stärkt das Umweltbewusstsein, optimiert Compliance und dient als Modell für nachhaltige Transformationen.
