Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das vorliegende Kapitel dient dazu, sich intensiver mit dem Konzept der Resilienz zu befassen. Ausgangspunkt ist einer der beiden übergreifenden Trends, der auf Supply Chains und das SCM wirkt – die zunehmende „VUCA-Welt“. Anhand der vier zugrunde liegenden Begriffe wird deutlich, dass zunehmende Schwankungen von Parameterwerten, wie beispielsweise Nachfragemengen oder Lieferzeiten, steigende Komplexität von Systemen und eine ebenfalls zunehmende Unsicherheit, zu Mehrdeutigkeiten führen. Störereignisse, und zwar nicht nur Naturkatastrophen, treten häufiger ein. Damit verbunden ist die Notwendigkeit von Supply Chains, Resilienz zu erzeugen, zu erhalten und bestenfalls zu erhöhen. Neben den unterschiedlichen Perspektiven auf Resilienz erfolgt die Auseinandersetzung mit Resilienz über ein Phasenkonzept. Durch das Phasenkonzept wird einerseits deutlich, dass Resilienz einen engen Zeitbezug aufweist. Andererseits wird durch das Phasenkonzept klar, an welchen Stellen konkrete Maßnahmen ansetzen können, um zu resilienten Lieferketten beizutragen.
