Abstract

Zusammenfassung In einer zunehmend globalisierten und vernetzten Welt ist Diversität zu einem zentralen Thema für Unternehmen aller Branchen geworden. Der Handel, als Sektor, der täglich mit einer Vielzahl von Kund*innen interagiert, steht hierbei besonders im Fokus. Die Förderung von Diversität und Inklusion kann Handelsunternehmen nicht nur dabei helfen, eine breitere Kundschaft zu erreichen, sondern auch ihre Innovationskraft und ihr Markenimage zu stärken (McKinsey u. Company 2020; Deloitte 2018).
