Abstract

Zusammenfassung Für den Onlinehandel war das Jahr 2022 eine Zäsur: erstmals gingen in Deutschland die Umsätze über den gesamten B2C E-Commerce-Bereich gegenüber dem Vorjahr zurück und haben seither ein deutlich geringeres Wachstum als in der Vor-Corona-Zeit. Trotzdem lagen die Online-Umsätze im Jahr 2023 um 44 % höher als im Vor-Corona-Jahr 2019 und hatten im Jahr 2023 wieder einen neuen Höchststand erreicht mit 88,3 Mrd. EUR (HDE 2024).
