Abstract

Zusammenfassung „Es gibt eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Events mit diversen, individuellen Zielsetzungen – meist entlang der Wirkungsfelder Lernen, Motivation, Kommunikation und Information. Eventmanagementaspekte, wie geeignete Konzepterstellung, strukturierter Planungsprozess und funktionierende Technik und Logistik vor und während der Veranstaltung, sind offensichtlich erforderliche Voraussetzungen für die Zielerreichung. Doch inwieweit ist es auch im Bewusstsein des Veranstalters, das Event im geeigneten Ambiente stattfinden zu lassen? Wie wichtig ist es für den Erfolg, die Auswahl der richtigen Location zu treffen? Wodurch wirkt ein Raum auf den Besucher eines Events und wie kann man sich diese Wirkung zu Nutze machen? Inwiefern haben die Räumlichkeiten einer Location aufgrund ihrer Raumwirkung Einfluss auf das Ergebnis einer Face-to-Face-Veranstaltung?“ (Ernst/Luppold 2021: 494).
