Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Positionsbeschreibungen, Verantwortlichkeiten und Berichtswege variieren von Firma zu Firma und haben sich auch in den letzten zehn Jahren verschoben. Während früher Begriffe wie „Med.-Wiss.“, „medizinischer Fachreferent“ und „Medical Marketing“ üblich waren, sind heute Begriffe wie „Medical Advisor“ und „Medical Science Liaison Manager“ gebräuchlicher. Das Kapitel beschreibt, um welche Aufgaben sich die Funktionen erweitert haben und worauf sich Professionals einstellen sollten, wenn sie erfolgreich sein wollen.
