Abstract

Zusammenfassung Haben seit der Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise 2008/2009 die Herausforderungen für die geldpolitische Ausrichtung der Zentralbanken im Vergleich zu den zuvor liegenden Jahren gefühlt deutlich zugenommen, könnten sich aus aktuellen und zukünftigen Transformationsprozessen zusätzliche Problemstellungen für die Zentralbanken herausbilden. Einige davon sind mit den Reaktionen auf die Risiken des Klimawandels, der veränderten geopolitischen Lage und die Konsequenzen der Digitalisierung bzw. den verschiedenen Ausprägungen der Künstlichen Intelligenz sowie der Veränderungen des demografischen Aufbaus unserer Bevölkerung verbunden – einige Aspekte hierzu finden sich in diesem Kapitel.
