Abstract

Zusammenfassung Laienhaft mag man davon ausgehen, dass Wahrnehmungsprozesse ganz am Anfang von Verarbeitungsprozessen stehen. Denn wir erleben, dass mit dem Beobachten unserer Umwelt alles beginnt. In Zusammenhang mit dem bisher in diesem Buch erworbenen psychologischen Knowhow wird es gegen Ende dieses Buches niemanden mehr überraschen: Das, was wir bewusst wahrnehmen, spiegelt mehr als jeder andere Verarbeitungsmechanismus (Emotion, Motivation und Denkprozesse) nur das wider, was im Innern zuvor gründlich gefiltert wurde. Das Kapitel stellt verschiedene Wahrnehmungsprozesse und -verzerrungen vor und bietet Einblick in das, was das Lesen von Menschen optimieren kann.
