Abstract

Zusammenfassung In Bezug auf die Betrachtung der Entwicklung der Wirtschaftskriminalität in der Schweiz fällt auf, dass keine umfassenden Statistiken oder Studien vorliegen. Man findet einzig amtliche Statistiken und vereinzelte, private Studien über Untersuchungen in Unternehmen. Während die amtlichen Statistiken lediglich Angaben zu den untersuchten und beurteilten Wirtschaftsstraftaten enthalten, basieren die von den grösseren Beratungsunternehmen veröffentlichten, privaten Studien auf Umfragen oder Medienanalysen. Eine Analyse der amtlichen Statistiken zu den klassischen Wirtschaftsstraftaten Betrug (Art. 146 StGB), Veruntreuung (Art. 138 StGB) und ungetreue Geschäftsbesorgung (Art. 158 StGB) lässt im Zeitraum von 2013 bis 2022 eine deutliche Zunahme der polizeilich registrierten Wirtschaftsstraftaten erkennen. Es ist zudem davon auszugehen, dass eine hohe Anzahl wirtschaftskrimineller Handlungen nicht zur Anzeige gebracht wird. Folglich dürften die Zahl der effektiv begangenen Wirtschaftsdelikte um ein Vielfaches höher liegen
