Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Energiewende ist aktuell Gegenstand eines (auch emotionalen) Diskurses in Gesellschaft, Politik und Wirtschaft. Muss sie zentral oder dezentral gesteuert werden? Wer finanziert sie? Wie können eine höhere Teilhabe und Partizipation gestaltet werden, damit Widerstände (siehe „Heizungsgesetz“) überwunden werden können? Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe und Genossenschaftliche FinanzGruppe sind bereits heute bedeutende Finanzierer gerade lokaler und regionaler Energiewende-Projekte. Dies passiert in der Regel voneinander getrennt und konkurrierend. Bindeglieder sind die bestehenden Stadtwerke und immer öfter Energiegenossenschaften in der Form von Bürger-Stadtwerken. Eine Volks- und Raiffeisensparkasse kann hier zum Mitgestalter eines regionalen Ökosystems werden, das die Energiewende deutlich voranbringt.
