Abstract

Zusammenfassung Finanzkonzepte in Einkauf und Supply Chain verlangen einen Top-Management-Fokus, da deren Anwendung große Potenziale zur langfristigen Wertsteigerung des Unternehmens bietet. Einkauf und Supply Chain Management beeinflussen die wesentlichen Wettbewerbsgrößen des Unternehmens in hohem Maße: Kosten, Qualität, Zeiten, Innovation, Liquidität, Resilienz und Nachhaltigkeit. Unternehmen, die Einkaufs- und Supply Chain Management zur Chefsache gemacht haben, erreichen nach unseren Forschungen deutlich verbesserte Finanzkennzahlen. Unternehmen mit strategisch ausgerichtetem Supply Chain Management haben eine doppelt so hohe Gesamtkapitalrentabilität und eine um bis zu 19 % höhere Steigerung der Marktkapitalisierung als Unternehmen, die diese Funktionen nicht direkt mit der Unternehmensstrategie verknüpfen.
