Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Artikel untersucht die stark wachsende Biohacking-Bewegung und stellt diese in den Kontext der zunehmenden Selbstoptimierung und des Perfektionismus in einer leistungsorientierten Gesellschaft. Dieses Phänomen und seine Auswirkungen werden kritisch analysiert, indem prominente Biohacking-Vertreter vorgestellt und Teile ihrer Werke untersucht werden. Zudem werden die Aspekte von Leistung, Leistungsdruck und Perfektionismus thematisiert, die in nahezu allen Lebensbereichen Beachtung finden. Der Artikel beleuchtet auch die Risiken der Biohacking-Bewegung, darunter gesundheitliche Gefahren und ethische Bedenken. Darüber hinaus werden Hinweise zur Coachingpraxis im Umgang mit Perfektionsfallen, die sich aus Biohacking-Praktikgen ergeben können, gegeben.
