Abstract

Zusammenfassung Hochschulabsolvent*innen stehen am Übergang von der Hochschule in das Berufsleben an einem zentralen Punkt ihrer Berufslaufbahn, den sie aktiv und in Kooperation mit Beratung und Recruiting gestalten müssen. Aber auch darüber hinaus sind berufliche Entwicklungen heute weniger vorhersehbar und auch nach der Einmündung in eine Laufbahn und innerhalb von Betrieben dynamisch und von Veränderung und Weiterentwicklung gekennzeichnet. Um hierauf gut vorbereitet zu sein, sind der Aufbau einer Reihe von übergreifenden Kompetenzen notwendig. Career-Services, Studienberatung und allgemeine Hochschulbildung können zum Aufbau und zur Reflexion solcher berufsbiographischer Gestaltungskompetenzen (BGK) beitragen. Personen, die ausgeprägte BGK aufweisen, sind besser in der Lage, ihre Übergänge aktiv zu gestalten, ihr Netzwerk auf- und auszubauen, sich beruflich weiterzuentwickeln und bei Bedarf auf Beratung und Unterstützung zurückzugreifen.
