Abstract

Zusammenfassung Kultursponsoring wird durch wirtschaftliche, gesellschaftliche, künstlerische, technologische, sowie (kultur-)politische Entwicklungen beeinflusst. Als Kommunikationsinstrument steht es in Wechselwirkung mit anderen Medien und Instrumenten der Marketing- und Unternehmenskommunikation, insbesondere bei den immer wieder neuen Möglichkeiten der Aktivierung von Sponsoringengagements. Dies führt dazu, dass sich Kultursponsoring in einer kontinuierlichen, dynamischen Entwicklung befindet, die immer wieder zu Chancen und Risiken führt sowie zur Notwendigkeit einer bewussten Gestaltung des Sponsoringmanagements. Im Kapitel werden Entwicklungen des Kultursponsoring aus Perspektive der Sponsoren, der kooperierenden Kulturbetriebe als Gesponserte sowie der Kulturpolitik diskutiert.
